2015 Cambridge Style Week gets style
New online look for www.cambridgestyleweek.com
A new website for the ground breaking Cambridge Style Week is now online, showcasing the very best of what the 2015 event has to offer. www.cambridgestyleweek.com has been redesigned by Catfish Web Design in Cambridge; introducing a new brand identity, displaying inspirational imagery and highlighting key content for this popular event that takes place next spring.
From 3rd – 8th March 2015, the 2015 Cambridge Style Week will bring together the best fashion and design talent that Cambridge has to offer, as well as introducing new and exciting emerging designers from around the globe.
“Cambridge Style Week is all about style, so creating a stylish website was key” said Jane Horwood, chief designer at Catfish Web Design. “Online is the first place many people look so making the right impression with a professional, engaging site is important. We were delighted to build a new site for Cambridge Style Week – it’s the number one fashion event for the city.” she continued.
The new Cambridge Style Week website was designed with clear specifications from the Cambridge Style Week team. Content is broken down into bite size chunks so visitors are not inundated with reams of content and large areas of the site are given over to imagery, creating an engaging and vibrant feel. Links to social media activity are also clearly displayed, enabling visitors to easily connect to the event in additional ways. The new site has been structured with inbuilt SEO functionality too, meaning the team at Cambridge Style Week can be confident that the site will be highly visible on search engines in the run up to the event.
Commenting on the newly launched site, Cambridge Style Week founder Nicky Shepard said: “Cambridge Style Week is now an established event in the city’s calendar and we are taking an even more confident approach in 2015, so a professional web partner, with a strong focus on creativity and an eye for detail, was crucial. Our events are exciting and inspirational – and it is these themes that Catfish Web Design has so effectively captured at the very heart of the new website, as well as developing a new iconic logo to professionally showcase the brand across all our materials.”
Cambridge Style Week is the brain child of local businesswoman Nicky Shepard and 2015 will be the third year that the event has taken place.
