Catfish Web Design announced as Winner in the 2016 Cambridgeshire Digital Awards

We are delighted to announce that Catfish Web Design won a Silver Award for our Headstart Day Nursery website at Cambridgeshire Digital Awards 2016, held last week at the Cambridge Belfry.

We have been working with Magic Nurseries, a chain of independent nurseries across the country, for several years. The client first approached us via Cambridge Marketing Consultancy. Magic Nurseries had purchased 9 nursery schools which required re-branding and new websites for each school. The revamped websites attracted so much new business that another 7 nurseries were purchased and we have recently completed websites for these.

 

This has been a fantastic team effort. The new, modern logo for Headstart was designed by graphic designer Sarah Croft of Croft Associates and beautifully complements the nursery's personality and uniqueness.

 

Photographs were provided by Cambridge photographer Peter Corr who has really captured the heart and soul of not just Headstart but all the nurseries. Professional videographer Audrie Reid created tailor-made videos which give prospective parents an insight into life at the day nursery.

 

Parents are now able to view the schools virtually before visiting them and feel as if they know the nursery already. So their visit is often just to confirm their decision to enrol their child. Many comment on the fresh and lively feel to the sites, how welcoming and informative they are and the fact that they provide a very good indication of the quality of service offered by the nursery school.

But holding the project together was Nicolle Halksworth of Cambridge Marketing Consultancy. She implemented a marketing strategy for the group of independent nurseries which involved new logos, marketing material and the bespoke websites. The revamped nursery websites generate 90% of new business for the nurseries. 

 

The client is extremely happy with the results: “Within weeks of launching the new sites the nurseries reported significant increases in the number of calls from parents arranging visits and going on to reserve a place for their child.
