Today I'm mostly listening to...

15/2/2022

I love a podcast and over the last couple of years, having been spending much more time on my own, my appetite for them has increased. Here are my current top 5.

Weird Norfolk

Folklore, magic and paranormal tales to send a shiver down your spine.

Shedunnit

The gold age of detective fiction was in the 1920s and 1930s. Shedunnit explores the mysteries behind classic detective stories and their writers. The host also dips into real-life cases that inspired these writers.

Fortunately … with Fi and Jane

Random chat from the brilliant Fi Glover and Jane Garvey, putting the world to rights. Great interviews by these insightful women.

In our Time

I have been listening to the dulcet tones of Melvyn Bragg for many years. Love the wide-ranging topics, one of my favourites being The Decadent Movement – Beardsley, Wilde and art for art’s sake in the 1890s.

Fixing the World

With all the doom and gloom in the news and on any social media platform I dare to access, this podcast reveals the positive things happening around us.
